I hear peeps always talking about wanting something different in the world of night creatures. It's true, this series is not for the faint of heart...but, what better than to show a little truth and give the readers the darker side of the night world. Truth in fiction, of course. I'm asked often why I give this series away so much....because it means that much to me for others to see just how different the "Vampire" world could be...in my Bloodbreeder series, where you will never read the word "vampire". Not until they jump from the 30's and into 2010 in book six. And I think there is no other series out like mine, not that I have read yet...bold to say...maybe...but, I have always said what is in my brain pan and I mean that!!!

To be honest...I'm planning a very large: Bloodbreeder Apocalypse..LOL..Those zombies have nothing in the way of horror compared to some of the hell in my series, so some have said. One reader's words: "I swear I could even smell the rotting stench when they had her down in the hole!" To find out what she meant, I guess you'll have to snag one of those last free copies and see if you too...enjoy the different side of living in darkness???

NEW RELEASE: Bren Woodard: Hatred, With a Passion

From birth, life had never been good for Bren Woodard. Fate dealt her a shitty opening hand with an abusive, alcoholic father, and a mother who chose to turn a drunken eye, right down to a society that didn’t even care if she existed.

Two major things happen that would bring joy to any that loved as strong as these two lovers do. But...one of them will suffer something horrible, causing the other to go a little insane. And will they be able to withstand the horror that turns their peaceful existence apart?

Many have asked me why I write about such things as: Horror, Crime, Murder, Serial Killers, Paranormal reads with all of the above. And very little in the way of sugar and spice~ Life is not everything nice. Life is not filled with happy ever after's. Life doesn't always come out smelling like roses. Those who watch the news or read the newspaper (Myself, NOT being one of them) see more horror than I could ever write, they just choose to believe it happens to others...or look the other way until the weather comes on. Me...I write the ugly side of things, most of the time making my female protagonist handle her own affairs and not have a hero popping up to save her in every read. No way!!! It would be sweet if life worked that way, and even though my work is fiction....that sugar and spice, let's make it all romantic and nice, is for those who enjoy creating it.  

My readers will find my warped ugly side even in my contemporary reads. Just as they will find romance in my thrillers and paranormal/horror novels. Life is full of it all and no matter what life hands my characters, I have a blast taking that journey with them. As I have told my own brother who asked: "Where do you come up with some of that shit?"

"Y'all shouldn't have been so mean to me when I was little," I laughed.

"We weren't that mean!" He gave me this odd frown.

Then I looked at him straight in the eye and gave him the truth. "I'm warped, and you haven't read anything yet." Because if he reads even book one in my Piper Vale series when it releases in a few months...he will know, without a doubt, what I mean about being warped. ; )

That's when he asked me about my shoulder tat that reads, of course, BLOODBREEDERS with a beautiful skull below. That in itself is another story altogether..LOL

Happy New Year~

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

 

 

 

The very first of my new year began with hitting the keys and continuing a journey with one of the character's in my Bloodbreeder's series. Martin (Marteen) Lebrun. This is the tale of how it all began. From a time when even Martin's bloodline of old looked to the stars for the one who created the first of their kind.

 

 

 

 

 

 Bloodbreeders: The Book of Martin, will take my breeder fans to a time, thousands of years before Yvette and her demented hell in book one: Living in Darkness.  

 

They will learn of how he became a creature of the night and who was responsible. And how this tale shows how truly old Martin is and how his kind came to be, told by the only father he had every known. A master that holds his bloodline. Amir had searched a very long time to find the last of his kind and nothing was going to take that away from him. But, things do not always turn out as we plan. Even though Martin's father was meant to be an elder and soon leave to take his seat...evil had other plans to turn their world upside down. Could it happen to a power as old as civilization itself? No man had ever tried.

 

Martin as well as my bloodbreeder followers will learn what the ancient Mayan have to do with Amir, though his time before the dark world was always where sand was under his feet and the wind blew hot.

Thousands of years will pass until new land comes to life around the world in the human population and breeders of all kinds would infiltrate, living, so to speak, right under what they know as the normal's noses. And while doing so, using them like cattle.

And when all is said and done, my peeps will know how it was that Martin stumbled upon the only female normal that he ever felt the want to bring over into the world of darkness. Renee Crocker, whom he watched for months, living in a arched shaped tomb in her country side cemetery. The rest is history...well, all that has been put on paper. Book five will start as soon as this one is complete and book six will start right after.

 

Though, I may write the second swing book in between books 5 and 6. ; )

 

I never make a new years resolution, but this year I am and it is...to bring life to my Bloodbreeders and slam as much of their tale out there as I possibly can! They live in me always and I want to share them with the world.

 

And I will....
